Lacrimedics® dissolvable VisiPlug® Lacrimal Plugs provide temporary medium-term Occlusion Therapy by reducing tear drainage through partial blockage of the horizontal canaliculus (approximately 4-6 months). The VisiPlug® Plugs never touch the eye. With correct placement they fit comfortably and will not fall out. Punctal dilation and topical anesthesia are not usually required for insertion.
